NQIP: New Quality Indicators Coming Soon

NQIP is being expanded. AutumnCare will assist providers in collating data for reporting at the end of each quarter.

New Quality Indicators

As you are no doubt aware, the Mandatory National Aged Care Quality Indicator Program (NQIP) is being expanded.

Providers must start collecting data as of 1 April 2023, this data will then need to be reported at the end of that quarter.

The Draft NQIP Manual 3.0 – Part A includes six new indicators:

  • Activities of Daily Living
  • Incontinence Care
  • Hospitalisation
  • Workforce
  • Consumer Experience
  • Quality of Life

AutumnCare can assist in the collection of data for:

  • Activities of Daily Living
  • Incontinence Care
  • Hospitalisation

Data for Workforce, Consumer Experience and Quality of Life will need to be sourced from outside your clinical management system.
