Unleashed Technology (Aust) PTY Ltd t/a Autumn Care (ABN: 46 092 532 315 | ACN: 092 532 315) is committed to protecting the privacy of all individuals whose personal information we handle. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information through:
- The AutumnCare public website (autumn.care)
- The AutumnCare software platform and related support services
This Privacy Policy is written in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
This policy applies to personal information handled directly by AutumnCare. It does not override, modify or limit the legal obligations of care providers who use AutumnCare software to manage health information.
1. About AutumnCare
AutumnCare provides digital care-management solutions for residential aged care, disability care and community care providers. Our software supports the creation, management and storage of care plans, assessments, clinical documentation and other operational records.

- through the AutumnCare website; and
- in connection with the AutumnCare software platform (to the extent described in this policy).

A. Website Visitors

AutumnCare software processes personal and sensitive information entered by care providers, which may include:

- Information necessary for care delivery and documentation
This information is uploaded and controlled by the care provider. AutumnCare processes this information solely to provide and support the software platform.

- it is entered by a care provider using the AutumnCare software;
- it is necessary to support or troubleshoot the software;
- the care provider has collected it lawfully; or
- we are otherwise permitted or required by law to handle it.
AutumnCare does not collect sensitive information directly from residents, clients or members of the public.

We collect personal information through:

- Use of the AutumnCare software by authorised staff

AutumnCare hosts and processes all health and clinical information exclusively within Australia. This supports compliance with state and territory health-records legislation, which in many jurisdictions requires identifiable health information to be stored and accessed within Australia unless strict legal conditions are met.
AutumnCare does not transfer health or clinical information outside Australia and does not permit subcontractors to do so.
AutumnCare may disclose non-health personal information (such as website enquiry data or business-contact details) to overseas recipients where necessary for administrative or operational reasons, including to group companies or service providers located in the United Kingdom or European Union.
Where non-health personal information is transferred overseas, AutumnCare takes reasonable steps to ensure the recipient complies with the Australian Privacy Principles or equivalent legal protections.
By interacting with our website or contacting AutumnCare, you consent to the overseas disclosure of non-health personal information for these purposes.

AutumnCare does not use personal information for purposes unrelated to the operation and support of the website or the AutumnCare software.

Client/resident data stored within the AutumnCare software is retained in accordance with instructions from the relevant care provider, who is responsible for meeting health-records retention obligations.
9. Your Rights
Under the Privacy Act 1988, you may request:
- access to personal information AutumnCare holds about you,
- correction of inaccurate, incomplete or outdated information,
- withdrawal of consent for marketing communications, and
- information about how AutumnCare has handled your personal information.
Requests relating to personal information entered into the AutumnCare software by a care provider must be directed to that care provider, who controls that information.
